My name is Aaron, and I run DIY Trailers, a small, local trailer hire business based in Cumbernauld set up to make moving things simple, affordable and hassle-free.

The idea for the business came after seeing how straightforward and accessible trailer hire is in places like Australia and realising there was an opportunity to offer that same kind of easy, no-nonsense service locally.

We started in 2024 with a simple goal: to provide a service we’d actually want to use ourselves. That means fair pricing, reliable equipment, and a friendly, straightforward experience from start to finish.

Coming from a hands-on background in property maintenance and practical work, I understand how often you just need to get a job done. Whether that’s a tip run, moving furniture, picking up materials or transporting a vehicle, without the cost or hassle of hiring a van.
